He notes that the recession period was particularly advantageous for his business, not due to a surplus of furniture from bankrupt companies but because businesses became more cost-conscious and sought innovative ways to manage their expenses. Richard believes Companies are also much more aware of their Corporate Social Responsibilities when disposing of furniture whereas in the past, they would look to throw the furniture away, they now look to recycle.
