Our Commitment to Sustainability and Waste Reduction

Our dedication to sustainability begins with our recycling policy. We are committed to avoiding landfill wherever possible. When we clear office spaces, our first priority is to resell or donate any furniture that's still in good condition. This approach extends the life of the furniture, accounting for over 95% of the items we collect. This is true recycling with no waste and minimal energy consumption, a stark contrast to conventional recycling methods.

In the year 2011 alone, we recycled an estimated 140 tonnes of furniture that would have otherwise ended up in landfill sites.

For items that can't be reused, we break them down into their constituent parts to facilitate recycling. Steel components are sent to local steel merchants for reuse, while wood is repurposed as fuel. This ensures that every resource is used as efficiently as possible. At RBF, we're acutely aware of the importance of responsible disposal. That's why we are Registered Waste Carriers, ensuring that we adhere to appropriate disposal channels for items that cannot be recycled.

Delivery and Installation Across the UK

We understand the importance of a hassle-free experience when furnishing your office. RBF offers delivery and installation services across the UK. Whether you're in High Wycombe or further afield, we've got you covered. While deliveries in the Southeast, where we are based, are generally more affordable, we can calculate delivery charges for other locations.

Our in-house fleet of vans and dedicated fitters ensure a seamless delivery process. However, when necessary, we also offer courier and pallet-based deliveries. Please note that pallet-based deliveries are kerbside and require you to unwrap and transport the units into your building. You'll also be responsible for the disposal of packaging and pallets. Pallets are available at approximately £60 to £95 plus VAT, depending on your location within the UK. Please keep in mind that this is a non-timed delivery service.
